Combining  fine art photography and contemporary photojournalism we provide a stylish photographic narrative of your wedding or event.  

We capture chemistry, passion,  relationships,  emotion, details and much more utilizing the key components to good photography:  beautiful lighting, composition, a good sense of timing and a fun, positive and professional attitude.   

We find that working as a team is an advantage by allowing us to get better coverage of your event.  Weddings are busy and often hectic with many things happening at once.   As two photographers we can be in different locations photographing at the same time.   In addition we  compliment each other's photographic style with different perspectives and continually challenge each other to exceed our client's expectations.  

We recognize that every event is unique and are sensitive to each client's needs.  By working with you in advance to plan your wedding or event photography, we are able to make your big day a little easier.

We offer black and white, sepia and color photos, digital files, post wedding websites, prints, albums and engagement photos.

About us:

Fred grew up in Los Angeles and has been involved in the arts since he was a child.  Both of his parents worked in the movie industry… his father, a make-up artist, and his mother, a professional dancer/actress in musical movies and Broadway plays.  Fred accompanied his parents to movie sets, which garnered his interest in photography and motion picture.  He has continued to pursue a career in the fine arts, photography and graphic design  at Pasadena College, El Camino College and The Evergreen State College.  Fred's also enjoys playing  soccer, gardening and writing movie scripts.  

Iklil has naturally gravitated toward the fine arts and photography since her early youth. She has a degree in commercial photography and has studied both commercial and fine art   photography, fashion design,  life drawing and more at Seattle Central, the Evergreen State College, the University of Cincinnati and Pratt Fine Arts Center.   After gaining valuable photography experience working with corporations and independent photographers, she started “Iklil Gregg Photography” in 1997  photographing weddings, portraits, commercial jobs and music talent.  Iklil also enjoys traveling, biking, hiking and gardening.

In 1998 Fred and Iklil met through friends and with a mutual love for photography, movies and the arts, they decided to combine their artistic talents.  They married in 1999 and changed the business name to “Gregg Nye Photography", a combination of their last names.  Ever since, Fred and Iklil have been working together photographing weddings, portraits and commercial shoots.  Their biggest love is their two children, Ian & Ayla.
